Skilled Hard-Landscaper
We’re looking for an experienced and highly skilled Hard Landscaper to join our growing team.
Working alongside our Landscaping Manager, you’ll take responsibility for delivering high-quality hard landscaping projects from start to finish. You’ll play a key role on site, using your technical knowledge and experience to plan and carry out the work, organise the team and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Location: Ayrshire based, travel to site location
Salary: £18-£25ph, DOE
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week (Monday-Thursday, 8am-4.30pm, Friday, 8am-3.30pm)
Reporting to: Operations Director
Special conditions: Flexible working hours may be required
Closing Date: 18th September 2026
Main Duties:
• Undertake a range of Landscaping tasks on site as directed by Operations Director including drainage, kerbing, blocking, flagging, porcelain & sandstone, tarmacing, brickwork, foundations and floor slabs, mixing concrete, moving materials and equipment safely, using hand tools, operating machinery, keeping work area clean, tidy and free from any hazards.
• Ability to understand and implement a sequence of works, from beginning to completion of each job.
• Capable of organising workload of on-site team.
• Willingness to train apprentices to company standards.
• Have meticulous attention to detail.
• Manage materials on-site as per bill quantities.
• Ability to manage day-to-day tasks in line with site programme.
• Willingness to work in the great Scottish weather, and motivate team to do so.
• To undertake routine maintenance of tools and equipment, completing all relevant log sheets.
• To ensure that security protocols are followed to ensure that tools and equipment are stored securely and safely at all times when not in use.
• To ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with all statutory health and safety requirements, our Health and Safety Policy and that of our clients.
• To wear correct PPE for all tasks.
• To follow all risk and COSHH assessments and instructions provided in tool box talks.
• To organise materials and equipment, tidy and maintain site as required.
• Any other duties that may reasonably be requested by the Directors.
Skills and Attributes:
• Experienced at completing landscaping tasks including laying porcelain and sandstone, monoblock, kerbstones, drainage, concrete work
• Have meticulous attention to detail.
• Practical experience of working on residential sites.
• Knowledge of site-based health and safety systems.
• Experienced in using range of hand tools, plant and machinery.
• Experienced in using a rotating laser.
• Understand architect and engineering drawings.
• Ability to motivate and lead team.
